Alter Rebbe On Pesach, On the Omer, On Shavuous, and on Av and Elul

Bringing the wisdom of the three maimers from Rabbi Shneur Zalman Liadi, the Alter Rebbe as  the groundwork, we are heading to Tisha B’av and reading his maimer Tziyon Bemishpat Tipadeh

It is recommended to review what we are doing in freeing happiness and bitterness from externalities, from the subconscious and unconscious mind, through the wisdom of the maimers of Pesach, the Omer and Shavuous.  In this way, we will truly make powerful use of the light and heat of the summer months as we head toward Elul.

Week of Behaalotecha -trust Torah to burn off the dross of unrefined raw materials

Existence gives us a taste of awareness, enough so that we are beings that know we exist, in order that we may apprehend true existence, Hashem and relate with Him to bring into this world the light of Torah and demonstrate His Attributes of Mercy.

True Existence gives consciousness and a mortal life in order to give awareness to a being to apprehend the true existence and extract through the free will choice with which we are empowered trapped Shechina from the darkness that covers true existence and bring it to revealed light through shining the light of a pasuk of Torah or a mitzvah or of His Attributes of Mercy into our intentions poised then to fertilize our thoughts speech and deeds, for then the true light can dispel the dark covering. We are emowered to “do” in this world in order for light to enter while the world retains what seems like material existence but is really all Hashem and None Other. When our vision to “do” is aligned with Torah, avoda and gemilas chesed, it is the greatest expression of our uniqueness and reflects our love and awe of Hashem.

Doing so fulfills the design of creation and brings merits to klal yisrael for infusing nature with Torah, creating transparency within the otherwise opaque mask of nature that covers the spiritual truth of His Existence in the world so that Hashem, through the light of Torah infused by human introduction in thought speech and deed, is able to be revealed in this world without obliterating the world.

Doing so also fulfills our potential – rectifying our own nature in the process of enabling us to to receive the greatest pleasure possible – for when our soul reconnects to existence after 120 years, having served without faltering in knowing true existence, once reunited, that reunion will itself be intrinsically rewarding.

Autonomy versus Uniqueness

The illusion of autonomous independent existence is the flag of the evil, the ra, of our natural animalistic inclination

Uniquenss is the expression in thought word and deed of True Existence (Torah Avoda Gemilas Chesed) that we are empowered to deliver into the world as Nishmas Am Yisrael, thereby completing the circuitry as the vessel through which light healing and blessing can flow into the world

The effort to do so with intention to serve Hashem is a force that draws the vitality from the false sense of autonomy otherwise headed for nurturing the forces of evil, in the lower three kelipas, to flow instead into the healing and blessings that Hashem wants to bring. Hashem empowers us as the “shadcan between Torah and the world through the gifts of free will and creative speech..By doing so we build the vitality into rectification and merits.

He gives us life and awareness and real free will to do this for the intrinsic reward of apprehending true existence here and for all eternity.

May we encounter the constant opportunities presented to us through the messages of our unconscious and subconscious mind by expressing our true uniqueness – when we experience survival impulses triggered by fears of abandonment or annihilation, may our effort to move ourselves from the natural reactions of a subjective animalistic instinct to instead utter Shema Yisrael Hashem Elokeinu Hashem Echad empowered by an intention to shine the Soul of the Torah onto the matter in order to draw the trapped Shechina from the darkness of the affliction that happened when we acquired zoohama, the poison injected by the nachash, when we ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This is our primary task at every moment. Hashem is in total control of our circumstances. The task is to unify and redeem impulse and emotions of bitterness so that this vitality becomes happy in connecting to true happiness – Torah, Avoda, and gemilas chesed – for bitterness is the experience of the soul being far from conneting with Hashem, True Existence.

We have 100% control over that. We have zero control over the outcome. And if the outcome is not good in our eyes, it means only that we have moredistance to close or more affliction to remove, not that what we did was not acceptable or effective.

Expanded explanation of the difference between autonomy and uniqueness

Who are we for all eternity and what is life for?

Got a really hole in the stomach part to heal?

1. see it as confusion as nature covering the  part made in Hashem’s image – then what is the root of the negativity? abandonment ( the exile from the garden of eden) or the yeast in the dough (our natural tendency to have our intellect hijacked by physical stimuli which then throws us into survival mode, or a mixture of both
2. feel empowered then to shine into it Shema Yisrael Hashem Elokeinu Hashem Echad to show Hashem that we receive the gift of the opportumity of this life challenge, knowing our real function – to be like the roots of a plant that brings the nutrients upwards and skywards – redirecting the essence of existence back into the flow of revealed existance  for spiritual nourishment,” harvesting” the shechinato bring it to holiness, acquiring for ourselves new merits thereby doing something that only a person alive can do – bring existence fromcovered by tuma to revealed good and holiness, kedusha
3. stop beating myself up for the reality that this is once again on my plate, to deal with these taivas and gaivas and instead realize this is my functioning the way Hashem designed that should be our way to contribute to healing the eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil
4. stop using imagination for subjective views of happiness based on receiving love from others…there is no way at all to know what anyone else is thinking or feeling
5. cling imagination only to real existence, go to prayer to feel loved and soothed and calmed
6.  trust that the process itself that we choose IS curative and healing no matter what happens

Parshas Naso 4th aliya – grounding down our nature to shine Hashem Echad into it

Guarding our souls from negative thoughts and reactions…what if?

When we understand that everything is from Hashem and He is the only Being that is essential to existence, how can we “field” the judgments, criticisms, corrections and condemnations that may be thrust upon us, either from outside or from our own negativity?

Understanding that our awareness that we exist is only because of Hashem’s existence, for He is Existence Who breathes compassionately into us our soul, and that breath of compassion becomes our consciousness and develops our intellect so that can have awareness of Him is step 1.

Step 2 is to cling to His Compassion with awe for step 1 and to arouse love in our hearts for Him for the opportunity of life to say Shema Yisrael Hashem Elokeinu Hashem Echad, thereby bringing the wisdom from Hashem’s chochma to fertilize our hearts, to receive His Chochma in our natural state so that we are improved from our natural reactions and His Chochma fertilizes our thoughts speech and deeds instead of our reactions.

Step 3 is to deflect the source of our negativity, either from a person or from our external but inwardly experienced negativity.

Try this:

“Your message has not been received.  We have a sensory detection system that screens incoming messages and natural reactions for the words and tone to determine if there might be onas devarim, hurtful speech involved.  It seems that your message has been rejected by our system.  If you believe that your message has been returned in error, please submit it when we reopen to hearing it, in 24 hours.  We are sorry if we have made an error in the treatment of your message; however, we are striving for all of us to live up to the existence that Hashem desires for us to choose in order that His Existence can be known throughout the world.  Repeat attempts to send your message as is will result in us asking to speak to your Supervisor, the One Who truly exists, to please help so that the message can be given in a manner more congruent with the sensory detection system!”
